I have been known to have a stupid idea every now and again - one was to celebrate the Jewish new year with a Friday night of stand-up comedy with 3 kosher comedians. That was in 1995 as was the celebration of 700 years of the Auld Alliance between France and Scotland. I had imported a bevvy of Scottish comedians and a poigné of their French equivalents. That ended up in a fight!
More recently I tried to drive to an unknown address in Montreuil to have tea with a mother and child on a Saturday afternoon during a canicule. A doomed mission I made my retreat within the périphérique like the Duke of York of yore.

I don't do le banlieue...

Which brings me to my evening of lies and exaggeration that originally was planned for the first Wednesday of September but I backed out and then shifted it to the 9th except a close friend was dead by then and I was summoned to his graveside in La Rochelle on that day. Now it's going to take place. for better or worse on Sunday 13th September.
It may be my turn to die as I will be hosting and there will be guests some incredible others barely credible. It may even be my very last show. Who knows, like I said "lies and exaggeration".

I know not if anyone will be personing the door, entry is free, exit is payable in paper.
